A Chinese carved stone head of Guanyin on metal stand, Tang dynasty or later. Height including stand approx. 44 cm, without stand approx. 32 cm. Purchased in Hong Kong, Hollywood Road in the 1990s.
General wear expected with age. Areas of loss on the end of right ear and headdress on the same side. Minor chips around the edges.
