A GROUP OF CHINESE RED POTTERY MODELS OF ANIMALS, TANG DYNASTY. To include a cow, a bull, a sheep, a chicken and two boars, recumbent and standing. Tang dynasty (618-907 AD). 8cm – 17cm lengths. (5)
Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman
Condition: Slight chip to back edge of standing boar. No other major signs of damage or repairs. Typical surface wear to note.
