A RARE CHINESE AUBERGINE AND TURQUOISE GLAZED ALMS BOWL AND COVER, 18/19TH CENTURY. Of squat globular form with shallow domed cover covered in a dark aubergine coloured glaze. The base turquoise ground with incised six character mark with temple mark. The cover with a turquoise glazed square four character mark temple name. Approx. 19cm wide.
