A FINE COPPER ALLOY FIGURE OF PADMAPANI, 18TH CENTURY. Heavily and finely cast figure standing on a lotus base holding a lotus stem leading up to his left shoulder, wearing a dhoti incised with floral scrolls and secured with tied sash. The crown, necklace, armlets and belt inlaid with turquoise, coral and possibly carnelian stones. 40.5cm tall. Weight 5010 grams.
