A CHINESE QIANJIN AND TIANQI LACQUER BRUSH POT, BITONG, KANGXI PERIOD. Of cylindrical form with three ogee cartouche featuring birds and butterfly in floral scenes on a swastika ground. The interior and base in black lacquer with gilt six character mark of Kangxi. 14.7cm tall.
