A CHINESE RED AND BLACK LACQUER ELM SIDE BOARD, SHANXI PROVINCE, 19TH CENTURY. Four-panel doors with brass fittings to the front decorated with red lacquer with gilt decoration of children playing in a garden setting. Two drawers and shelf space to the interior, with further secret storage below. Together with a certificate of authenticity from The Ashwood Gallery, Bangkok Thailand dated 4th October 2007. 127cm x 87cm x 40cm
Overall good working order. Wear and fading to gilt decoration with minor fading to black lacquer at edges.
