AN AFRICAN SWAHILI CARVED WOODEN TRIBAL COMB AND PAPUA LIME SPATULA. Finley carved with concentric circles between bands of horizontal lines, on metal display stand. Together with a carved wood ‘lime-spatular’ possibly Massim. Comb 23cm length. Other 26.8cm length. (2)
Provenance: The comb with original purchase receipt from Anthony Hepworth Fine Art Dealers Limited, Invoice 12549 dated 11 June 2004 – With Provenance Gertrude Hermes. Condition: Both items in good overall general condition without signs of repair.
