A CHINESE POTTERY JAR WITH ENCRUSTATIONS, POSSIBLY 12/13TH CENTURY. Such shipwreck jars and other ceramics were traded between China and the Indonesian islands during the 12th and 13th centuries. The accumulation of encrustations and marine growth show the many years submerged in the South China sea. 22cm height
