CHINESE FUNERARY / GRANARY JARS, SONG / YUAN DYNASTY, 12-14TH CENTURY. To include a tall pale green glazed jar and cover decorated with twelve Daoist Immortals and a dragon coiled around the neck together with a model of a covered jar in the form of a storehouse (granary). 48cm and 17cm heights. (2) Provenance: From a private Essex collection. The tall jar purchased from Brian Page Antiques, Brighton 2004. The other acquired in 2003.
Condition: Repairs around top rim section of tall jar with minor chips to cover.
