A CHINESE PAINTED POTTERY FIGURE OF AN EARTH SPIRIT, ZHENMUSHOU, TANG DYNASTY (618-907). The horned animal form figure seated facing forwards with flames issuing from the shoulders, with traces of red pigment. 37cm height. Provenance: From a private Essex collection. Purchased from Abhaya Asian Antiques, Hong Kong 2004.
Condition: Repairs to the tines to note.
