An extremely large Chinese Qing dynasty embroidered silk ‘birthday hanging’ on a turquoise ground. Depicting two four-claw dragons with flaming pearl above the Sanxing Gods of fortune, prosperity and longevity. Below are the Eight Immortals surrounding Magu Xian Shou and to the bottom are cranes, bats and a pagoda. Approx. 268cm x 155cm
Provenance: Property of a lady who worked as a restorer for Spink, London in the 1970s. Acquired in the 1970s
