A Chinese Neolithic pottery jar with two looped handles and conical base decorated with a twisted rope band around the shoulder, another indented band below the neck leading into a gently fluted mouth. Machang phase (2300 – 2000BC). 30cm tall x 33cm wide. From a private collection in Buckinghamshire formed in the 1980s.
