A Chinese Sang-de-boeuf porcelain garlic-mouth bottle vase. The pear-shaped body leading up to a garlic shaped neck covered in a slightly mottled deep red glaze. Six-character seal mark of Qianlong to base in underglaze blue. 19.5cm tall. By repute, From a private American family collection who were based in China in the early 20th century.
