Fine Japanese 19th Century Shijo Drawing – Onishi Chinnen ? featuring a seated man beside a book. With a red seal. Artist not known for sure, but likely school of Onishi Chinnen (1792 – 1851). Mounted in a glass-fronted frame. Dimensions of frame: 52.5cm (20.5 inches) x 50cm (19.5 inches).
Provenance: From the collection of the late Brian Page (1938-2018), the well-known Oriental art and antiques dealer from Brighton.
