Two Volumes Japanese 18th Century Illustrated Woodblock Printed Books. This complete two-volume set includes 32 printed pictures of various subjects, nearly all of which are diptychs. Text is minimal. There are notes inside the book suggesting the artist is Kanu Tangu(e) with a date of 1750. 18.5 cm x 25.5cm.
Provenance: From the collection of the late Brian Page (1938-2018), the well-known Oriental art and antiques dealer from Brighton.
