A group of five ivory Manju netsuke. To include a two-piece Manju netsuke of bathing scene, signed. Manju netsuke depicting a farmer. Netsuke depicting bird flying into waves with rocks, signed ‘Shunko’. A walrus ivory Manju netsuke of Daruma with book and another walrus Manju netsuke of Sage on donkey, signed Kozan. Meiji period. 5-6.5cm. (5)
Provenance: Property of an English gentleman, acquired in the 1990s and early 2000s.
