A very tall pair of Chinese carved wood panels. Each panel carved to front and reverse. The bottom sections with shallow relief carving and top sections with pierced decoration with figures. Qing dynasty. Heights approx. 234cm. Width 49cm (2)
Provenance: From a Bath local private collection General surface wear and natural cracks in the wood to be expected with age. One panel has a long crack running down the side. One small area of loss to the ‘shou’ character of one panel.
