Lot 221:
A Chinese red lacquer and gilt carved wooden seated buddha with snake motif below. Height approx. 23 cm. Purchased in Hong Kong, circa 1980.
Natural cracks in the wood as expected with age. There is a small section of wood missing from the base. General surface wear and rubbing to gilding. Minor loss to lacquer around cracked areas.
