A Chinese black lacquer wooden shrine box and offering stand carved with gilt decoration. Height 27 x width 42.5 x depth 13.5 cm. Purchased in Hong Kong, circa 1980.
Small chips and cracks to lacquer work as expected for age. Some small pieces of gilt carving are loose, cracked or missing. Repaired breaks to corners of the bottom stand.
