A Chinese Yixing pottery teapot with painted enamel decoration of flowers and butterflies. Signed ‘Yi Gong’ to base. 1766-1831. Width approx. 14 cm.
With a faint crack to the base moving approx. 3.5 cm up the body of the teapot. A small chip to the inside rim of the cover and minor glazing defects. Otherwise in good condition with no visible damages or repairs.
