A Chinese carved stone head of Guanyin on metal stand, Tang dynasty or later. Height including stand approx. 42 cm, without stand approx. 30 cm. Purchased in Hong Kong, Hollywood Road in the 1990s.
General wear expected with age. Areas of loss on the ends of the headdress and minor chips around the edges. Slight bend to stand.
