A Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-907AD) pottery Lokapala Guardian figure. The painted figure standing on a recumbent ram with a hand clenched up towards his head.
With a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ from Ming Gallery, Louisville Kentucky dated 3rd March 2007. Figure height approx. 47cm A crack to the back of the hair. General surface wear expected with age and no visible repairs. Condition as expected for these types.
