Tall Chinese Celadon Glazed Porcelain Vase with Carved Peony Pattern. The body decorated with a carved scrolling peony pattern and leaves around the shoulder. Some of the petals further decorated with lightly incised lines. The celadon glaze finely-crackled. Height 41.5 cm (16.25 inches).
Provenance: From the collection of the late Brian Page (1938-2018), the well-known Oriental art and antiques dealer from Brighton. General surface wear as expected with age. Glazing defect around foot rim. No visible signs of damage or repair. In good overall condition.
