A LARGE CHINESE CANTON FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN BALUSTER JAR AND COVER, 19TH CENTURY. Painted to the body and cover with various figures and calligraphy between bands of gilt-ground famille rose decoration of butterflies and floral blooms, with gilt finial. Written C401 to underside of cover. Approx. 62cm tall
Two visible 15cm hairlines from rim leading into the body. The cover in good overall condition.
